Shiki Oriental - Westfield Chermside, Chermside, Brisbane
November 17, 2018
Before the old food court at Chermside was renovated, Shiki offered a variety of different asian dishes and before it closed down, I had the chance to give it a try.
Satay Chicken served on white rice topped with shredded carrots and cabbage. Had a bit of a taste, there was that hint of peanut sauce but seemed to be a bit bland, they either didn't balance it with sweet soy sauce or it just needed more peanuty kick. However, when mixed with the rice, this seemed to have been a better pick than the noodles ordered.

Cha Kway Teow was much sweeter than what it normally would be. Very soy sauce based and very sweet, the ho fan noodles were cooked well however with the amount of meat being sufficient however, even if mixing it altogether, it still is sweet as. Not a big fan.
*Please note this is a delayed post and as such, this establishment has closed since my last visit.
