Koffie Warung Tinggi - Grand Indonesia Mall, Jakarta, Indonesia
May 12, 2017
Sometimes wanting to have dessert and coffee in a mall can seem a bit hectic specially when everything seems to have a queue or filled with people. Koffie Warung Tinggi specialises in traditional Indonesian food and dessert as well as drinks.
Serving various coffee beans as their blend, they specialises in it to allow diners to be able to enjoy the variety and different options, those who may not have heard of this or that.
Wanting to eat something savoury before digging into the sweet stuff, ordering their Bakmi Warung Tinggi was a good start to have. Served with a vegetable soup and a sweet chilli dipping sauce. I felt that eating the bakmi is better when you add a little or half of the soup and mix it through.
Kue Cubit, classic version. There's a premium flavour where there's green tea, espresso, taro and red velvet.
Martabak Premium filled with chocolate, which I actually forgot whether we had the nutella, ovaltine or the toblerone. They do have a classic version with chocolate sprinkles, cheese or both at the same time.
The Marabak manis was thinner than the traditional street version and I did feel that it wasn't as worth it compared to the classic ones you could buy outside.
