Ku-o is one of the few Japanese restaurants in Market Square, Sunnybank. There aren't many seats available, maybe a few booths and then small tables in the middle. However, if you're around and don't feel like chinese or viet food, then have a try here, maybe some things will get your tastebuds going. We came here for lunch after I had just finished my classes for the day in uni and they do have lunch sets which includes a choice of a variety of dishes served with mini oden, salad, pickles and an Iced Barley Tea. However, we did not order the lunch set since we didn't want to eat too heavy.
Riverbar Kitchen, on the Promenade level of Riparian Plaza in Eagle St Pier precinct, giving you views of the Story Bridge, what a view.. I have always enjoyed waterfront views when it comes to dining and living, especially when the weather is nice and the sun isn't scorching on you like a laser beam. Owned by celebrity chef and restaurateur Matt Moran, you wouldn't doubt the food nor the interior and ambience.. Well, sometimes you would but I guess it depends on first impressions and location..
Hosokawa Japanese restaurant in Hamilton, along Racecourse road does its justice for traditional Japanese food, however, it may be hard to find street parking or you even may miss the place when you drive past. Do book before you come because sometimes, they may easily be fully booked even if sometimes you do see empty tables around. The restaurant is not as big as I thought it would be, with both indoor and outdoor seatings available.
