I know it's been a while that Ben & Jerry's has opened up in Surfers and omg how many people were so happy when they did... I seriously think they should think of opening one in Brisbane.. Since in Brisbane, yes there are Ben & Jerry's in convenience stores and that, but all in tubs sadly...

Taro's Ramen still seems to be one of the best ramen places there is in Brisbane.. Of course there has been a few more opening up after it but for some reason, nothing can beat Taro's yet... Unless you're looking for other types of ramen then maybe you might be able to find something else, but this specific ramen, you won't be able to... Although it is not in the middle of Queen St Mall, it is in a walking distance and it isn't far if you really think about it...
Restaurant Manx is one of the many restaurants located in Portside wharf, offering a variety of Modern Australian dishes.. Although there are other restaurants surrounding it, other ranges from Asian to Middle Eastern cuisines or sushi to ice creams... A medium sized restaurant next to the entrance to the cinema and Sono restaurant.. Arrived around lunchtime and only 2 or 3 seats were taken, however as soon as we were seated, a few more diners started to come in but overall, was quite an empty and slow day..
Chinese restaurants has always been everywhere, in every suburbs.. So along the sides of Gympie rd, there's a chinese building on the left of the road if you're driving towards the city.. It's usually quite empty during lunch but gets busier during dinner.. I've been here before but didn't get the chance to write about it..
Was shopping around in city and decided to take a late afternoon coffee and cake quality time together since it's been awhile we've walked around the city due to his ongoing out-of-city work... At first we wanted to go to Brew, however it was packed and no free seats, so we decided to go elsewhere.. Still wondering where to go and I suggested Milano, the nearest restaurant towards the Treasury casino and the way to Southbank, and.. it's in the middle of Queen Street Mall.. So what better way of sipping a warm cup of coffee and nibbling on cute cakes and being able to watch people passing by...
It's been awhile since I ate Hakataya in Market Square as I usually end up in the other chinese restaurants around... Wasn't that busy the other day during lunch so decided to come here for lunch... This Japanese ramen eatery is know to be the most popular ramen shop in the state, with its simple menu consisting of only 4 main ramen dishes and their location is also very limited with only 5 shops around...
