Parkland Chinese restaurant is in Sunny Park shopping centre which is infront of Market Square and Sunnybank Plaza.. Booked it early for Chines New Year Yum Cha lunch but when we arrived, they seemed to somehow have lost our reservation and so we had to wait.. Many people were waiting outside and inside of the restaurant just staring down the diners so that they would somehow eat quickly and leave.. Heard some people waiting kept on shouting and complaining and wanting a table for 2, 5, 10+ etc.. Pretty hectic but hey, no one should be surprised as probably all of the chinese restaurants around would be like this at this time of the year.. Happy Belated Chinese New Year everyone~
Been awhile since I've eaten korean food and go to Obaltan in Elizabeth St.. The location is somehow not very easily spotted as they seem to be low key and all you see from the outside is their glass window and their restaurant name at the bottom. However, if you're familiar with Koz Market and Madtongsan 1 area, then you will be walking past Obaltan.. Their restaurant don't really have anything to catch people's attention unless you just suddenly come across it or you're familiar with the area...
Richards & Richards is a Brisbane owned men's fashion clothing store, specializing in italian brands and their own. As well as these amazing men's luxurious clothing, the two flagship stores, one located in Westfield Chermside and the other in Elizabeth St in the CBD, combines a fashion emporium and a bistro style dining..
New Shanghai, a new chinese restaurant located in front of coles in Queens Plaza in the Brisbane CBD.. Seems to be the talk of the town these days and so, when I had the chance to try it one afternoon while in city, I popped by and had a look and decided to give it a try... Known for its Shanghai cuisine , this restaurant has travelled from Sydney to Brisbane soil...
Another visit to Little Singapore because I was missing their Kwae Teow.. Also needed to go to Yuen's market to buy some groceries as well and it has been awhile since I've been to Sunnybank after I came back from abroad..
Usually here in Aspley Oriental for Yum Cha, but this time, just for dinner.. Just a simple dinner.. Place was not as packed as it usually is for their daily Yum Cha, however, there were many people that started coming in as soon as I sat down and looked through the menu..
This may be a late introductory post into this coming year, 2013.
And excuse my lack of writing and posting these days due to my end of year travel.
I will be posting food from my travel soon too.
Maybe there will be more of them than my Brisbane food travels.
Truthfully, there is a problem with my HD where I actually store all of my photos and other things incl food photos as well and so, I have not been able to access it for the last month (not an excuse but really a legit reason).
I will get it fixed as soon as I can, I really hope I will be able to because I really want my photos back.
On top of that, since I ran out of memory space on my camera during my half of my travel, I had to transfer all of those photos from my mc to my hd, and since now there has been a problem accessing it, i am very very very very upset and hope to get it back.
so please do pray for my HD so that it will be fixable and more YUMMY FOOD photos coming soon.
well, i guess that's it for now.
will be continued.
till again,
