Byron Fresh Cafe, located near where the Byron Bay Beach is .. A street filled with different cafes, and this was the first one that we came across and so, we decided to go in.. We did however, tried going to the other cafes, however, seeing that some were either closed and reopening in an hour or so, we couldn't wait and let our tummies get upset.. Sadly, I did not get to try any breakfast food, so the next time I come here, I have to, definitely, have to order myself some Breakfast .. as this was lunch...
This was not our intended Japanese restaurant that we were going to go and eat at, but, due to reasons that the one we wanted to go to was closed, and we would have to wait for a few hours till it reopened again, we decide to go to the one near it ...
Eastern Express in Paradise .. reminds me of a small warung.. located near Subway, Japanese Restaurant .. Not many of us were hungry at the time, so just came to have a snack or maybe a nibble ..
Back to Little Hong Kong again at Market Square, where it's still open when you end up getting hungry at night and people are still busy chatting and eating ... There are a few other restaurants that are open, but sometimes their kitchen may close earlier or something .. So, back here again, and for some reason, I can't be bothered trying the other dishes, so the usual dishes always gets ordered, with maybe one or two different ones .. or maybe just end up buying the same thing again ...
Haven't been to Hogs Breath for awhile, so decided to go here for lunch the other day.. and oh my god, should I tell you how happy I was from being hungry, to being a satisfied little vegemite with a smile on my face as I kept on munching and munching down the food .. Went to the one over at Aspley, near where Hungry Jacks, Fasta Pasta, Baskin and Robbins and Harvey Norman is..
Jo-Jo's, the balcony restaurant in the heart of Queen Street Mall .. From Meditteranean food to steaks and salads to asian dishes and alcohol.. busy at night, lunch is not too bad.. but just in case, book your tables on friday and saturday nights..
Sushi Train at Carseldine is located at Carseldine Central, near where Woolworths, Nandos are... Sushi Trains are getting more popular nowadays, due to the increase of office workers wanting quick, easy food to go in the CBD area, or even for those who wants a light lunch or maybe a filling one.. from different sorts of sushis ranging from meats and seafood, from slightly grilled to fried to raw.. whether you want to sit down and have a chat while sipping on your hot green tea and wait for your favourite sushi to train by..
A few Charcoal Korean BBQ restaurants has opened in the Brisbane CBD, though you can distinguish one from the other from the portion and the prices.. Red and Grill is one of the Charcoal BBQ places which I prefer than the other ones I know in CBD.. The portion and the price is not too bad, and it does fill you up.. it does not charge you nearly $20 for a portion of meat and gives you like a little or a portion which you're like, "is this it?"....
Max Brenner on a weekday night and yes, it still full.. a long queue, a while to stand there and wait.. but in the end, all the chocolates seems to have made you forget about all the waiting...
The first thing you might notice before you enter the restaurant is the loud live music, with old tracks which will make you remember the good old days.. On nights live music will always be here to entertain you.. Another thing you might notice is how the restaurant is filled with Indonesian paintings, Indonesian 'Batik' for each of the table covers and just the restaurant itself may make you remember those feelings of 'warung' which is a word in Indonesian literally translated to small shop or restaurant..
Little Singapore is one of the many successful asian eateries that somehow came over to the CBD from Sunnybank... Like its brothers and sisters I may say such as Little Hong Kong, Malaya Corner etc. they produce cheap delicious food that will make you come back, wanting to try the ones you have not tried yet... Located in Charlotte St near the Police Station and Pancake Manor..
